to lead and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities onboard vessels and at our shipyard. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and guide electrical technicians during installation, testing, and commissioning of shipboard electrical systems
Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for marine applications
Ensure compliance with marine electrical standards (IEC, ABS, DNV, etc.) and safety protocols
Coordinate with project managers, mechanical teams, and vendors to meet project timelines
Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, navigation, and control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults during repair or retrofit operations
Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, inspections, and compliance reports
Train junior staff and enforce best practices in marine electrical work
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or marine electrical systems
Strong knowledge of marine electrical codes, classification society requirements, and shipboard systems
Proven experience supervising teams in a shipyard or dry dock environment
Familiarity with PLCs, switchboards, generators, and automation systems onboard vessels
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
