Job Responsibilities:



?

Operations & Maintenance of Substations

:

Oversee the

operation and maintenance

of

33KV and 11KV substations

, including installation, rectification, and commissioning activities.

Electrical Fault Detection

Perform

electrical cable fault detection

using advanced locating machines and carry out necessary

rectifications

to maintain operational efficiency.

Cable Handling & Testing

:

Conduct thorough

inspection, glanding, termination

, and

testing

of electrical cables to ensure integrity and safety.

Installation & Maintenance

:?

Electrical & Instrumentation Drawings

:?

Switchgear Servicing & Maintenance

:?

Documentation & Reporting

:?

Preferred Knowledge

:

Supervise the

installation

and

maintenance

of

single-phase and three-phase motors

,

electrical panels

, and associated systems. Ability to

read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings

accurately, ensuring precise execution of tasks. Oversee the

servicing and maintenance

of electrical switchgear, including

ATS

,

ACB

,

MCCB

,

MCB

, and other associated equipment to ensure optimal operation. Prepare

Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

,

PPM schedules

,

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

, and

variation orders

for efficient project management. Knowledge of additional

electrical systems

, including

generators

and

switchgear

, to assist in maintenance activities. ?

Educational Qualification

:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum

6-7 years

of experience in the

operations and maintenance

of

HV

and

LV systems

Extensive experience with

33KV and 11KV substations

,

electrical fault detection

, and

testing

. Strong knowledge of

single-phase and three-phase motors

,

electrical panels

, and

switchgear (ATS, ACB, MCCB, MCB)

. Proficiency in preparing

Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

,

PPM schedules

,

BOQ

, and

variation orders

. Strong

problem-solving

and diagnostic skills for troubleshooting electrical systems. Ability to

interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings

accurately.?

Preferred Knowledge

Familiarity with

generators

and other

electrical systems

will be an advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Additional Information:

Food, accommodation, and transportation

are provided by the company. Must be willing to work in

rotational shifts

and handle

emergency breakdowns

is preferred but not mandatory.
