Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Only candidates presently living in Dubai will be considered. Overseeing the work of electricians, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Developing work schedules, allocating resources, and prioritizing tasks to meet project timelines and deadlines. Enforcing safety regulations, ensuring adherence to electrical codes, and promoting a safe working environment. Identifying and resolving electrical issues, providing guidance to electricians on troubleshooting techniques, and potentially assisting with repairs. Monitoring material inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available, and managing material costs. Estimating material and labor costs for projects, contributing to budget development, and controlling expenses. Identifying training needs for electricians, providing guidance and mentorship, and potentially conducting training sessions on new procedures or safety regulations. Maintaining clear communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders, coordinating work activities, and resolving any issues that arise. Maintaining records of work completed, time spent, materials used, and other relevant data, and preparing reports as required. Conducting regular inspections of electrical systems, evaluating the performance of electricians, and ensuring work meets quality standards.

Essential Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to motivate and guide a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Ability to identify and resolve complex electrical issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Thorough understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices.

Education and Experience:

Typically requires a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience as an electrician is essential, with several years of experience demonstrating proficiency in electrical work. Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
