The Electrical Supervisor oversees and coordinates all electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work within a facility, plant, or project site. They ensure all electrical systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead electrical technicians, electricians, and subcontractors in daily operations.
Plan, schedule, and assign electrical maintenance, installation, and testing activities.
Ensure all electrical work complies with company standards, safety procedures, and relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in systems such as motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, control panels, and lighting.
Interpret and review electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor inventory of electrical materials, tools, and spare parts, and request procurement when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices (e.g., lockout/tagout, permit to work).
Support commissioning activities and ensure all electrical systems are tested and operational before handover.
Train and mentor junior staff to improve technical skills and work efficiency.
& Qualifications:
Supervisors:
Minimum
5+ years of Gulf experience
in maintenance, including experience in a
supervisory role.
Must hold a
Diploma
in the relevant technical category.
Must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, fault identification, and on-site repair activities.
Must provide
previous experience certificates
for verification.
Must possess
good communication skills in English
(verbal and written).

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,300.00 per month
