Job Responsibilities - Electrical Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate daily electrical works on site to ensure smooth execution of activities.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements before starting the work.

Assign tasks to electricians and ensure proper manpower allocation based on project requirements.

Ensure all electrical installations comply with local authority regulations and project standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, DCD).

Conduct routine inspections of electrical works, equipment, and tools to ensure safety and quality.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.

Monitor material usage and ensure availability of required items at site.

Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, HVAC, etc.) to avoid conflicts and delays.

Prepare daily progress reports and update the project engineer/site manager.

Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and lockout-tagout (LOTO).

Assist in testing, commissioning, and energization activities.

Verify that workmanship meets project quality standards and rectify any non-conformities.

Train and mentor electricians to improve skills and productivity.

Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers when required.

Ensure proper documentation, including inspection requests (IRs), checklists, and as-built updates.

Requirement:

3-5 years UAE experience in electrical site works.

Knowledge of ADDC/ADCD standards and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.

Ability to read drawings and supervise electricians.

Strong communication, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.
