Electrical Site Supervision Engineer (switchgear & Transformer)
Job Description
JOB TITE: ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISION ENGINEER (SWITCHGEAR & TRANSFORMER)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform site activities for Transmission power substation Equipment such as Gas insulated Switchgear rated 132kv & 400kv and power Transformer rated 132/11kv & 400/132kv.
Site Safe Receipt Procurement Inspection, installation, Testing activities in line with the approved test forms.
Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings.
Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts occurred during site activities related to technical issues, reviewing method statement, reporting non-conformities to line Manager and follow up with stakeholders for rectification.
Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWA's safety standards.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION
Education
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience/Qualification
Minimum 5 -7 years experience in high voltage transmission field of substation equipment
Problem solving skills
Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE, IEC, BS)
