Key Roles and Responsibilities:1. Site Execution & Installation Supervision
Supervise and ensure proper installation of all electrical systems including:
Power Distribution (LV panels, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs)
Cable Laying, Termination, and Glanding
Lighting, Power, Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
Low Current Systems (ELV, CCTV, Access Control, etc.)
Ensure works are executed as per
approved IFC/shop drawings
, specifications, and method statements.
Monitor progress and quality of installation carried out by electricians and subcontractors.
2. Coordination with Other Disciplines
Coordinate electrical routing and installations with civil, HVAC, plumbing, and finishing works.
Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and MEP teams to resolve clashes and ensure seamless execution.
Raise RFIs for unclear site conditions or drawing conflicts and follow through with timely responses.
3. Quality Control & Inspections
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure installations meet project and authority standards (DEWA, DCD, Dubai Municipality, etc.).
Raise WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) for consultant approvals and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) if any.
Verify and sign-off on installation checklists and site inspection reports.
4. Material Management
Ensure usage of
approved electrical materials
(cables, conduits, fixtures, switchgear, etc.) as per project submittals.
Monitor material delivery, storage, and usage to avoid shortages or wastage.
Prepare material take-offs and coordinate with procurement for timely requisitions.
5. Testing & Commissioning
Plan and supervise testing of electrical systems:
Insulation resistance testing (megger)
Continuity checks
Functional testing of lighting and power systems
DB internal wiring and breaker configuration
Support third-party testing and DEWA inspections for power supply energization.
Ensure final testing, commissioning, and handover documents are submitted and approved.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site activity logs, manpower reports, and installation checklists.
Update and maintain red-marked drawings/as-built drawings.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the project manager.
7. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with UAE electrical codes and DEWA standards.
Enforce site safety procedures during electrical works (lockout/tagout, PPE usage, etc.).
Conduct toolbox talks and report incidents/near misses as per HSE policy.
8. Consultant & Client Coordination
Accompany consultants and client representatives during inspections and walkthroughs.
Address site issues raised by stakeholders and ensure timely resolution and follow-up.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
