proactive, technically strong, and capable of independently handling projects
, while also providing support to the wider engineering team. This role may involve
site visits

prior field and construction experience is highly desirable
.
Key Responsibilities
Lead E&I engineering design and development for oil & gas facilities (onshore/offshore).
Develop detailed engineering deliverables such as single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedules, instrument data sheets, control philosophies, and specifications.
Participate in the preparation of scope of work, technical specifications, and procurement support documents.
Ensure design compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, API, ISA).
Perform technical evaluations of vendor documents, drawings, and equipment specifications.
Support construction teams through technical queries and field engineering.
Conduct inspections and commissioning support during project execution phases.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 7 years of experience
in E&I engineering within the oil & gas sector.
Strong understanding of
project workflows from design to construction and commissioning
.
Ability to
independently manage
engineering packages and deliverables.
Experience with site execution, installation, and commissioning activities is
highly desirable
.
Familiarity with E&I design tools and software such as
AutoCAD, SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation), ETAP, or similar
.
Strong working knowledge of relevant
international standards and codes
(e.g., IEC, NEC, API, IEEE, ISA).
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in FEED and EPC projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Experience working with control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA) and instrumentation field devices.
