Job Description

Position:

Electrical Foreman (Building Project)

Company:

Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length:

24 months

Qualifications



Diploma/Trade Certificate in Electrical (or equivalent).

5-8 years

site experience on

building projects

(LV distribution, lighting/power, containment). Strong knowledge of

cable tray/trunking/conduit

, wiring/termination, SMDB/DB installation,

earthing & lightning

, and

testing

(megger/continuity). Able to read electrical/shop drawings, mark-ups, and coordinate

builder's work openings

with civil/MEP. Familiar with

HSE/PTW

, LOTO, and work-at-height.

Key Responsibilities



Supervise installation of

containment

, cables, terminations, DBs/SMDBs, earthing, and lighting/power fixtures per drawings/specs. Coordinate with

FA/ELV

teams for devices, interfaces, and power provisions. Ensure correct

cable sizing/routes

, labeling,

glanding/lugs

, and compliance with authority standards. Organize manpower, plant, materials; raise

material requests

and maintain stock control. Conduct

toolbox talks

; enforce PPE, housekeeping, barricading, and permit rules. Prepare

daily reports

, assist with

WIR/MIR

, and close

snags/punch-list

promptly.

Electrical site supervision (buildings): 7-10 years (Required)
