Job Title: Estimation & Design Team Lead - Lighting Solutions
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Estimation & Design Team Lead
to join our lighting team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the estimation and technical support process, ensuring the delivery of accurate, compliant, and high-quality lighting proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the estimation and technical support process from initial inquiry through proposal submission and after-sales support
Collaborate closely with sales teams, engineers, suppliers, and clients to develop high-quality lighting designs and proposals
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed BOQs and competitive quotations
Ensure proposed lighting solutions comply with project requirements, industry standards, local regulations, and budget constraints
Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, and design documentation
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and profitability in estimation and design processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in a similar role within the lighting industry
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and lighting drawings
Proficiency in lighting standards, design software, and tools such as
Dialux
and
AutoCAD
Excellent communication, coordination, and supplier negotiation skills
