Key Responsibilities
Develop and review electrical designs, drawings, and calculations for ancillary buildings. Ensure electrical layouts (lighting, power distribution, grounding, earthing, fire alarm, LV systems) meet project and client requirements. Coordinate with architects, civil, structural, and mechanical teams for integrated design solutions. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in ancillary buildings. Support contractors and consultants with technical clarifications and design adjustments. Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built records. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for equipment/material selection and approvals. Participate in design reviews, site meetings, and progress reporting. Provide technical input during tendering, procurement, and contract evaluations.
Requirements
Prior exposure to ancillary buildings such as substations, control rooms, or utility structures. Proficiency in AutoCAD. * Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.
