of Electrical Engineer

Design electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects according to UAE codes (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.). Prepare electrical schematics, layout drawings, single-line diagrams, and load calculations. Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure work is performed to specifications. Assist in procurement activities including the preparation of BOQs, specifications, and tender documents. Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives and promote safe work practices. Communicate with authorities and clients to obtain necessary approvals and permits. Responsible for Follow up, coordination and supervise of the installation of all electrical systems at site and ensure that the work is done as per the approved drawings, approved method of statements and as per client requirements. Prepare daily/monthly reports including all work progress, manpower distribution & material consumption. Follow-up with other engineering staff all Electrical activities in site and coordinate the work properly to avoid any conflict in site. Submit & monitor inspection requests to client for systems installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning till the handing-over of the project.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE Professional certification or registration is an advantage Strong knowledge of DEWA, ADDC, and other local authority requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
