An MEP Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems
for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
in coordination with other MEP disciplines.
Ensure compliance
with local and international electrical codes and safety standards.
Conduct load calculations, fault analysis, and energy efficiency assessments.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors
to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning
of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and emergency systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
during construction and post-installation phases.
Prepare cost estimates, material specifications, and procurement schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5-7 years of experience in MEP electrical design and site execution.
