Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical system designs, drawings, and schematics in compliance with standards and project requirements. Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layout planning. Prepare accurate cost estimations, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and material take-offs for projects. Review technical specifications, tender documents, and client requirements to ensure design accuracy. Collaborate with architects, consultants, and project managers to align designs with overall project goals. Provide technical support during project execution, resolving design or estimation-related issues. Ensure adherence to safety codes, electrical standards, and regulatory guidelines. Optimize designs to balance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in electrical design and estimation (construction, power, or related industry). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, local regulations). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cost-estimation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
