About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Project Sales Electrical Engineer
with strong experience in
LED lighting products and lighting solutions
. The ideal candidate will handle project-based sales, technical support to clients, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and end-users. This role requires both technical expertise and strong sales skills in the lighting industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage sales opportunities for LED lighting products across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Identify and pursue new project leads with consultants, contractors, and developers.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, lighting proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.
Provide technical support, including product selection, lighting calculations, and design recommendations (Dialux/AutoCAD).
Review project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to propose suitable solutions.
Coordinate with the design team and suppliers for pricing, samples, and technical documents.
Follow up on quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales deals.
Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Track ongoing projects, ensure timely submissions, and support tender requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical Engineering
or related field.
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
in LED lighting sales, project sales, or lighting design.
Solid technical knowledge of
LED lighting products, drivers, controls, and lighting standards
.
Proficiency in
Dialux
,
AutoCAD
, and
Microsoft Office
.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Valid UAE driving license (optional based on your needs).
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
indoor, outdoor, facade, and landscape lighting
projects.
Existing network of consultants, contractors, and MEP firms.
Strong understanding of tendering processes in the UAE/GCC market.
