We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Electrical Draftsman
to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have
a minimum of 10 years of experience
working with reputable
consultancy firms
, with a proven ability to produce high-quality drawings, coordinate with engineers, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
:
Prepare electrical layouts and detail drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools
Coordinate with MEP and civil teams to integrate electrical drawings with other disciplines
Review and revise drawings based on engineer inputs and site conditions
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications
Maintain accurate drawing records and support submission documentation
Conduct site visits to gather data and update drawings as needed
Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion
Requirements
:
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Drafting
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in the construction/contracting industry
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant drafting tools.
Strong knowledge of DEWA & authority standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
