Responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and layouts for projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams using AutoCAD or relevant software. Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings as per project requirements. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other trades for design integration. Update and revise drawings based on site conditions or design changes. Maintain proper documentation and drawing records. Support engineers in preparing BOQs and material submittals. Ensure all drawings comply with company and local authority standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman (preferably in MEP or construction projects). Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage. Strong understanding of electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, data, and low current). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
