The Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams to support the design and installation of electrical systems. This role requires collaboration with engineers and other professionals to ensure accurate and safe electrical designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, including power distribution, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Collaborate with electrical engineers to understand project requirements and incorporate changes or updates into the designs.
Review project specifications and blueprints to ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Provide technical support to project teams and assist in solving any design-related issues.
Produce as-built drawings to reflect final construction and modifications.
Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
Coordinate with contractors and other trades to ensure electrical designs align with other construction work.
Ensure all electrical design documents are clear, precise, and easy to understand for use by construction and installation teams.
Perform revisions to designs as requested by project stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy in all work to avoid errors that may affect the construction schedule or safety.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Proven experience as an electrical draftsman or in a similar technical drawing role.
Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical drafting tools.
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., DEWA , DM, DDA).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with other professionals.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Working Conditions:
