About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled

Electrical Draftsman

to support our project-based collaborations in solar and electrical system design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for solar PV projects and electrical installations. This role is suited for professionals who can work flexibly on project assignments and deliver precise, timely outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts

for solar PV systems and related electrical infrastructure. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to convert design concepts into accurate technical documentation. Use

AutoCAD, PVSyst, and related software tools

to create and optimize system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and other design documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications. Update and revise drawings as per design modifications and client feedback. Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Proven experience as an

Electrical Draftsman

, preferably in solar PV design or power systems. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, PVSyst

, and related design tools. Understanding of electrical standards, safety codes, and solar system components. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines.

Engagement Terms:

Project-based/freelance collaboration. Compensation will be based on scope, complexity, and deliverables of each project.
