Job Description
Education and Qualifications
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Certification in AutoCAD or Revit MEP is preferred
Technical Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD Knowledge of Revit MEP, Dialux, or similar software is an advantage Ability to prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams Understanding of MEP coordination drawings Familiarity with electrical systems including power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and low current systems such as CCTV, access control, data, and BMS Knowledge of MEP standards and DEWA, SEWA, ADDC regulations Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in GCC projects in an MEP contracting or consultancy environment
Job Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical drawings from design concepts Prepare load schedules and single line diagrams as per local authority standards Modify drawings based on engineer or consultant feedback Coordinate with MEP engineers and other disciplines Maintain drawing records and revisions Ensure all drawings comply with local authority standards
