Job Description
Next Engineering Consultants is seeking a skilled
Electrical Draftsman
with5+ years of experience
to join our design team. The successful candidate will prepare detailed electrical design drawings for various building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and coordination with other disciplines.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate electrical design and shop drawings (power distribution, lighting, earthing, fire alarm, low current systems).
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for integrated designs.
Update drawings based on project revisions and feedback.
Ensure drawings meet local authority regulations and company standards.
Maintain organized documentation and drawing records.
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years
of experience in electrical drafting within an engineering consultancy.Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit or BIM skills are a plus.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
Attention to detail and good time management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Good command of English (written and verbal).
Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
