An
Electrical Draftsman
is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and electrical installations, using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and produce detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams. Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate concepts into technical drawings. Ensure that electrical drawings comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards. Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create and modify electrical plans and diagrams.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education
: A diploma or degree in electrical engineering technology, drafting, or a related field.Experience
: Previous experience in electrical drafting or design is often required.Technical Skills
: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with electrical design software.Knowledge
