Job Title: Electrical Draftsman

Prepare shop drawings for all electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and other services, for residential and commercial buildings. Develop detailed ELV system shop drawings (CCTV, fire alarms, access control, intercom, PA systems, data and telecommunication systems). Coordinate with engineers and other team members to interpret design drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications. Create accurate and scalable electrical and ELV layouts using AutoCAD Modify drawings as per client or project requirements and incorporate feedback from engineers or architects. Prepare as-built drawings at the completion of the project, reflecting all changes made during construction. Ensure that all shop drawings comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety codes. Collaborate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure proper coordination of services. Maintain up-to-date records of revisions, modifications, and approvals. Assist in preparing bills of materials (BOM) and material take-offs based on shop drawings. Review and verify drawing accuracy and clarity before submitting for approval.
Experience : 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction or engineering projects.
