Full-timeJob Purpose:
To prepare accurate electrical drawings and layouts for LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-current systems, in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, schematic layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or Revit. Modify and revise drawings based on engineers' and consultants' feedback. Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, architectural, structural) for drawing compatibility. Assist in material take-offs and quantity estimation from drawings. Maintain organized records of all drafts and drawing versions. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and standards (NEC, IEC). Prepare cable routes, tray layouts, and electrical room layouts. Support engineers in site coordination and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Certification in Electrical Drafting / Engineering. 3-6 years of experience in MEP or construction projects. Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret and develop technical drawings independently.
