Job Description

Extol International is in need of an Electrical Draftsman with knowledge in creating detailed 2D/3D technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical and control systems using CAD/Revit, based on engineering specifications. They produce cable schedules, wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, and material take-offs (MTOs) to support construction and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties



Produce accurate 2D/3D electrical and instrumentation drawings (General Arrangements, Cable Tray/Routing, Single Line Diagrams, Loop/Wiring Diagrams, Instrument Location Plans). Translate engineer concepts into detailed CAD drawings, adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Prepare cable schedules, motor control lists, and Material Take-Offs (MTO). Modify drawings based on client comments, site queries, or project changes. Liaise with engineers and construction teams to ensure design compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Strong skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation. Understanding of E&I components, electrical schematics, and relevant industry codes/standards. Usually requires 2-5+ years in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, specifically in industrial, oil & gas, or construction. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical certification.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
