to join our reputable Interior Fit-Out Company. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the UAE, specializing in electrical drafting for interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare precise electrical design drawings, plans, and schematics according to project needs.
Work closely with the design team, site supervisors, and project coordinators to ensure the correct execution of electrical designs on-site.
Create shop drawings, load distribution schedules, single-line diagrams, and layouts for low current systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm, Data, Telephone, etc.
Ensure all drawings are fully compliant with UAE regulations and authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, etc.).
Update and modify electrical drawings to reflect changes from the site or client specifications.
Assist in generating as-built drawings after project completion.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
Collaborate with the estimation and quantity surveying teams to support material take-offs and BOQ preparation when needed.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of relevant UAE experience in electrical drafting within the interior fit-out sector.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting tools.
Solid understanding of electrical systems for interior fit-out projects.
Knowledge of UAE electrical codes and procedures for obtaining authority approvals.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight project deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to BIM/Revit software is an advantage.
Familiarity with MEP coordination will be considered a plus.
