Perform manual and machine coil winding for electrical control transformers.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, work orders, and wiring diagrams.
Select wires, insulation materials, and winding methods as per design.
Ensure correct turns, layering, and tap connections during winding.
Perform coil impregnation, drying, and assembly operations.
Maintain winding equipment, tools, and ensure a clean and safe work area.
Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field.
2-5 years of experience in transformer or motor coil winding.
Knowledge of transformer construction, materials, and testing methods.
Experience with control transformers (0.5 kVA - 25 kVA range).
Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Good attention to detail, manual dexterity, and quality awareness.
Familiarity with VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) process is a plus.
