Job Summary:

We are looking for a

skilled Electrical BIM Modeler

to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and managing

3D electrical models

using

Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

. This role requires close collaboration with electrical engineers, architects, and other BIM professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify

3D BIM models

for

electrical systems

including

lighting, power distribution, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), and fire alarm systems

using

Revit and AutoCAD

. Ensure electrical models adhere to

project specifications, local codes, and industry standards

. Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, structural) to

detect and resolve clashes

using

Navisworks or other clash detection tools

. Extract and update

2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings

from BIM models. Create and manage

BIM families, templates, and parametric models

for electrical components. Perform

quantity take-offs and BOQ generation

from BIM models. Maintain an

organized BIM database

and update revisions as needed. Work closely with

MEP engineers, site teams, and consultants

to ensure smooth execution of electrical designs. Ensure compliance with

BIM execution plans, project timelines, and quality standards

. Attend

BIM coordination meetings

and assist in resolving design and technical issues.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.

4+ years of experience

in BIM modeling for electrical systems in the MEP industry. Strong proficiency in

Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

. Experience in

clash detection and coordination

with other disciplines. Familiarity with

BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 standards

is a plus. Strong understanding of

electrical codes and standards

(DEWA, ADDC, NEC, IEC). Ability to read and interpret

MEP drawings, schematics, and technical documents

. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience with

Dynamo scripting for automation

in Revit. Knowledge of

LOD 300-500 modeling

for construction and facility management. Familiarity with

BIM 360, Tekla, and other BIM-related software
