Electrical BIM Modeler

We are seeking a skilled

Electrical BIM Modeler

with strong consultancy experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing accurate 3D models, coordinating electrical services with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and manage detailed

Electrical BIM models

using Autodesk Revit in line with project requirements. Prepare coordinated drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, ELV, etc.). Collaborate with architects, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines to resolve coordination issues. Ensure compliance with

UAE building codes, authority regulations, and consultancy standards.

Support design teams in producing accurate documentation for tender and construction stages. Maintain BIM standards, templates, and families specific to electrical systems. Review and update models/drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and consultant/client feedback. Assist in clash detection, design validation, and QA/QC processes. Provide technical support to project teams and participate in design coordination meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in

Electrical Engineering

or related field. Minimum

5 years of experience in UAE

with

at least 3 years in a consultancy firm.

Strong proficiency in

Autodesk Revit (Electrical discipline)

and AutoCAD. Solid understanding of

electrical systems

(LV, MV, lighting, power distribution, ELV, fire alarm, etc.). Knowledge of

UAE authority standards

(DEWA, ADDC, DM, Civil Defense, etc.). Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
