Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Engineer with strong design capabilities to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 4-8 years of experience. Solid background in electrical design. Previous experience in engineering consultancy firms. Proficiency in Revit (BIM) and preparing detailed electrical design drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Prepare lighting, power, grounding, low-current systems design based on project requirements and applicable codes (UAE standards, DEWA, ADDC, etc.). Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection according to project needs. Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams. Review IFC/tender drawings and ensure that all electrical design outputs meet project specifications and QA/QC standards. Support senior engineers in preparing design reports, BOQs, and technical documentation.
