Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 6-8 Years in Marine and offshore industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor ship automation platforms including ECR automation, PLCs, and SCADA systems
Operate and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Support engine room and high-voltage control systems
Maintain and test emergency shutdown systems (ESD), fire and gas detection systems, and alarms
Troubleshoot faults in systems like engine monitoring, fuel management, fire detection, and ballast control
Install sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other instrumentation devices
Calibrate and regulate instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators
Perform routine servicing of field instruments, control valves, transmitters, and actuators
Conduct loop checks and assist in commissioning new systems or modifying existing ones
Set up instrumentation systems during vessel commissioning or retrofit projects
Ensure accurate calibration and upkeep of all instrumentation systems
Adhere to international maritime standards such as MO, SOLAS, and ISM Code
Prepare technical documentation including instrumentation diagrams, fire alarm layouts, and calibration records
Collaborate with engineering teams and other departments to ensure smooth integration of systems
