Job Description

The ideal candidate should perform dual role by ensuring technical excellence in electrical works while upholding the highest standards in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all project sites.

Supervise installation, maintenance and trouble shooting of electrical systems including MDBs, SMDBs, DBs and Feeder pillars as per DEWA regulations. To prepare technical submittals, load schedules and voltage drop calculations for consultant or client approval. To co-ordinate with client/consultant for design approvals, site inspections and release of power supply. To conduct site surveys, prepare BOQs and assist with the preparation of project quotations and material enquiries. To develop and implement risk assessments and method statements for project specific works. Monitor project progress and conduct weekly site meetings with internal teams. Implement corrective actions for day to day maintenance problems and minimize system down time through effective supervision. Plan and manage street lighting maintenance projects, fault rectifications and relocations across various communities. Conduct regular QHSE inspections at project sites by ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE legal requirements. Enforce strict HSE regulations, proper usage of PPE, adherence to permit-to-work systems and safe working procedures. Develop and maintain project specific HSE plans, emergency response procedures and safety documentation. Investigate site accidents, incidents and near miss to identify root cause(s) and implement corrective or preventive actions. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on site inspections, training attendance, safety violations and environmental performance.
Technical Skills Requirements:

Proficient in AutoCAD and with strong knowledge of DIALux / DIALux EVO for lighting calculations and lux level simulations. Sound experience in MS office (MS Excel, Word and power point) for reporting, planning and documentation. Sound experience in E-mail and Document control systems to manage technical submittals, site and client/customer correspondence. Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Electrical and HSE roles. Strong communication skills in English is mandatory. Managing multiple tasks with prioritization and to work independently under pressure.
