Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various software tools and programming languages. The Electrical Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project specifications and timelines.

Duties

Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics and PCB layouts. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical designs. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for creating detailed engineering drawings. Implement signal processing techniques for effective data analysis. Collaborate on project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks. Develop firmware for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other embedded systems. Perform testing and validation of electrical components using tools such as oscilloscopes and ohmmeters. Engage in system design activities for SoC (System on Chip) applications. Apply knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards in all designs. Participate in the manufacturing process by providing support for surface mount technology (SMT) assembly. Use simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and SystemVerilog for modeling complex systems. Engage in debugging processes to enhance system performance. Work with quantum engineering concepts where applicable.
Skills

Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation. Strong knowledge of C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages for automation tasks. Familiarity with SolidWorks for mechanical design integration. Understanding of mechanical engineering principles to collaborate effectively with mechanical teams. Experience with Arduino platforms for prototyping solutions. Knowledge of vision inspection systems for quality control processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions in electrical engineering applications. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
