for oil and gas projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in supervising E&I activities in the oil and gas sector, with a proven ability to manage site execution in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all E&I installation, testing, and commissioning activities on site.
Ensure work is executed according to project specifications, IFC drawings, and quality standards.
Liaise with project engineers, subcontractors, QA/QC, and safety teams to ensure smooth site operations.
Review daily progress, manpower deployment, and material requirements.
Conduct inspections and provide reports on site conditions and progress.
Identify and resolve technical issues in coordination with engineering and construction teams.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards and promote a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
10 to 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas projects, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
Strong understanding of international electrical and instrumentation codes and standards (IEC, NEC, API, etc.).
Familiar with hazardous area classification and ATEX/IECEx equipment.
Proven ability to lead and manage site teams.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of PTW (Permit to Work) systems and site HSE protocols.
Preferred:
UAE work experience or project background in ADNOC / EPC projects.
Valid UAE driving license (optional, based on site requirements).
HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.
