The French section is present in around thirty countries.

The main objective of the Operations department in OCP is to improve the quality of the operational response of MSF by formulating, supervising, and insuring the efficient implementation of its medical humanitarian activities. The department is organized in 8 operational cells, transversal units, and project units.

The eHealth unit has a mandate to promote and advance secure, efficient, and effective use of health information, contribute to the quality of care, information utilization, and help to inform future health information technology initiatives.

In the context of a temporary creation of a permanent position, we are looking for a eHealth Knowledge Management and Training Mobile Implementation Officer.

Mission:

Under the overall supervision of the Regional eHealth Data and Support Coordinator, The eHealth Knowledge Management and Training MIO is responsible for developing and implementing the training and learning strategy for the eHealth tools (Health Management and Information Systems \xe2\x80\x93 HMIS and Electronic Medical Records \xe2\x80\x93 EMR), including but not limited to training end users on system navigation, data use, and information management and overall knowledge management related to eHealth tools.

Main responsibilities:

Development of training objectives, courseware, and material for eHealth tools
  • Engage with multi-level end users to identify training needs (including resources, indicators, data sources, data management processes, and use of information)
  • Design and develop learning content and resources (written documentation for internal consumption, manuals, end user guides, training material, videos, job guides etc.) which will allow the effective and continuous use of the eHealth tools in projects
  • Develop training methods and standard operating procedures to improve eHealth tools functioning and use, including group training sessions, and on-the-job approaches
Facilitation of end user training and knowledge management for eHealth tools
  • Coach and train users on how to use the eHealth tools to record data, extract reports, and data exports
  • Coach and train users during the initial roll-out and deployment of eHealth tools
  • Prepare, organize, and coordinate the delivery of training courses (group training, one-on-one training, and coaching) whether in person or online for identified end users at eHealth tools implementation locations
Training support and continuous improvement of training material and methodology
  • In collaboration with the eHealth Regional Implementation Specialist identify needs and improve training methodologies and courseware
  • Elicit feedback from users, as well as continuously observe and identify gaps to the training material and training delivery methodology, adjust all training materials (content, format, and methodology)
  • Long term training of end users and user groups to facilitate sustainable use of the eHealth tools
  • Contribute to the revision and improvement of the tools within the eHealth team
Profile:
Education:
  • University degree is required.
  • Diploma or formal training in learning and development or knowledge management is an asset.
Experience:
  • Knowledge or experience in quantitative data management and information technology systems is an asset.
  • Experience in assessing training needs, creating training content and training various levels of users is an asset.
  • Familiarity with open-source electronic medical records systems and platforms is an asset.

  • Arabic is desirable
**Status:**Field contract (24 months, renewable) based in Dubai or Amman with 30-40% of the time in field visit in the Middle East and North Africa.

Conditions: Field contract, level 11 (from \xe2\x82\xac2064 monthly gross to \xe2\x82\xac2437 monthly gross) according to MSF field salary scale and depending on seniority and experience.
