New opportunity for freelance/independent Educational Psychologists to join a newly opened NeuroHub which is apart of the Antser Group, sister company to Carter Brown Experts.



This role involves completing neurodivergent assessments around Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and other learning differences.

This work can be undertaken on a full-time, part-time or ADHOC basis. Completely flexible to you! You pick and choose how much work you pick up and when you undertake your assessments.

Fees



Dyslexia & dyscalculia Assessments - 360 per single assessment - 540 for combined assessment

BACKGROUND



Carter Brown was founded in 2001 in response to demand for a high-quality service that offered specialist expert witnesses. Our office base is in Nottinghamshire, though we operate a national service.

We provide expert witness assessments to solicitors, local authorities, courts, panels and private organisations. Our trusted expert base comprises of psychologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians and independent social workers. We predominantly undertake assessments in the field of family law proceedings, alongside criminal law, immigration/asylum, prison/parole and tribunals.

We receive around 1400 referrals per month across all disciplines nationwide. Assessments can be undertaken in person or remotely offering you variety and flexibility of work.

At NeuroHub, we provide

professional dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia assessments

for children and adults seeking a formal diagnosis.

Over 24 years' experience of completing high quality assessments, therapies, training and support for children, adolescents and adults.

We deliver high-quality, tailored assessments in line with national guidelines, while offering ongoing support to meet the unique needs of every individual.



NeuroHub is seeking experienced Educational Psychologist (EPs) to deliver high quality neurodiversity screenings and full dyslexia & dyscalculia diagnostic assessments for children and/or adults. With education, workplace, and everyday life in mind, our goal is to provide comprehensive assessments and actionable recommendations that are recognised across schools, universities, and employment settings.

Assessment Opportunities



Dyslexia and/or dyscalculia assessments (adults and/or children)

Full cognitive and learning profiles (IQ, working memory, processing, executive functioning)

Reports to support EHCP applications, DSA, Access Exam Arrangements and Access to Work

Guidance and recommendations for schools, families, universities, and/or employers

Requirements



HCPC registered Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience Demonstratable experience with dyslexia/dyscalculia assessments tools Strong knowledge of learning difficulties and cognitive profiling Background in report writing for EHCPs, DSA, Exam Access Arrangements or Access to work Commitment to neuro-affirmative practice and accessibility Knowledge and experience working with neurodivergent children incl. ADHD, ASD

Responsibilities



Conduct and perform assessments using recognised diagnostic tools for dyslexia/dyscalculia Write detailed, evidence-based reports with clear recommendations Provide professional feedback to parents, children and teachers with actionable strategies to support education needs Ensure all assessments are aligned to SASC standards Full neurodiversity screening (non-diagnosis) - 160 (remote)

Responsibilities



Review and interpret results from preassessment questionnaires, screening for ASD, ADHD, dyslexia & dyscalculia Provide detailed summary report and 1-hour remote consultation to deliver feedback and discuss the appropriate next steps and assessment pathway if recommended

We provide regular FREE training days for our associates to support your CPD. By joining our service, you are joining more than just an agency. We regularly disseminate articles from appropriate journals and Government initiatives/policy drives on subjects you may find relevant to your work. We ensure that all your documentation (personal indemnity insurance, DBS check and practising certificates) are kept up to date. We can also facilitate DBS checks for you where required.
