Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or relevant field to be licensed as an educational psychologist in Dubai and the relevant government license to practice in the emirate of Dubai (eligibility or transferable). A minimum of 2 years of proven paediatric experience with verifiable references Valid driver's license and access to a car Proficient in both written and spoken English Skilled in supporting children with learning difficulties or communication needs International candidates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise the Able-Me Early Intervention and Learning Day program Conduct psychological assessments of Able-Me children to evaluate baseline of students' learning, emotional and behavioural needs, along with observation and input from class leads and relevant SaLT and OT therapists Conduct psychological assessments of outreach students to evaluate baseline of students' learning, emotional and behavioural needs, along with observation and input from class leads and any other relevant professionals within the school setting Provide counseling and intervention services to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualised support plans Develop and implement strategies to enhance students' learning and well-being. Conduct classroom observations and provide recommendations for classroom management Support the identification and intervention for students with special educational needs Provide training and guidance to teachers and staff on psychological issues and strategies Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss students' progress and interventions. Collaborate with external agencies and professionals as necessary Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments and interventions Stay updated with research and best practices in educational psychology. Support Sensation Station in promoting positive mental health and well-being initiatives alongside the marketing manager events calendar Complete tasks assigned by your Line Manager as needed.
