Responsibilities:Strategic Support: Assist in the development of strategies to build a robust SME ecosystem, gaining understanding of alignment with Dubais economic goals and the D33 strategy.Partnership Assistance: Support the initiation and management of partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders to expand market access and resources for SMEs, under the guidance of senior team members.Collaboration Support: Assist in collaborations with industry associations, chambers of commerce, and international trade bodies to identify growth opportunities for SMEs.Project Support: Provide support in the management of a portfolio of projects, learning about the balance between innovation, strategic relevance, and resource allocation.Project Planning Assistance: Assist in the creation of detailed project plans, learning to define clear scopes, set realistic objectives, chart deliverables, and outline comprehensive timelines.KPI and Performance Monitoring Support: Support the design and implementation of tailored KPIs and performance measurement tools to understand how projects align with strategic goals and deliver on their promise.Policy and Program Support: Contribute to the research and design of policies and programs to address ecosystem gaps, enhancing access to finance, market opportunities, and business development support, under supervision.Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in monitoring and analyzing ecosystem dynamics, supporting the provision of data-driven insights for decision-making.Event Support and Networking: Provide logistical and administrative support for ecosystem development events, networking platforms, and knowledge-sharing forums.Advocacy Support: Support advocacy efforts for policy changes to promote SME growth, competitiveness, and innovation, through research and information gathering.Required SkillsEducation: Bachelors degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, economics, international trade, Public Policy, or related disciplines.Experience: 2-5 years of experience in roles with exposure to business development, partnerships, or the entrepreneurial ecosystem (internships and relevant projects will be considered).Skills and Abilities: Developing network with industry professionals and business associations.Demonstrated interest in and basic understanding of entrepreneurial ecosystem programs.Developing analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
