is responsible for managing and optimizing product listings to drive sales. This role requires expertise in e-commerce strategies, SEO, pricing analysis, customer service, and order fulfillment to ensure a seamless online shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
Product Listing & Optimization:
Create, optimize, and manage product listings to improve visibility and rankings on eBay.
Write compelling product descriptions, titles, and bullet points using
SEO strategies
and relevant keywords.
Upload high-quality images and videos that showcase product features effectively.
Regularly update listings to reflect new stock availability, pricing, and promotions.
Sales & Pricing Strategy:
Conduct
market research
to analyze competitors, pricing trends, and demand
Develop
competitive pricing strategies
to maximize sales and maintain profit margins.
Monitor eBay analytics and sales performance to make data-driven decisions.
Identify opportunities for product bundling, discounts, and seasonal promotions.
Customer Service & Order Fulfillment:
Respond to customer inquiries, messages, and product-related questions in a
timely and professional manner
.
Handle customer complaints, returns, and refunds while ensuring compliance with policies.
Coordinate with the
logistics and warehouse team
to ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipping.
Maintain a high
seller rating
by ensuring positive customer feedback and resolving disputes effectively.
Marketing & Advertising:
Manage Ads to increase product visibility and boost sales.
Implement eBay promotional campaigns and discounts to attract more buyers.
Collaborate with the
digital marketing team
to cross-promote products on other online platforms.
Utilize
email marketing
and social media channels to drive external traffic to eBay listings.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Work with the warehouse team to ensure stock levels are maintained and updated on eBay.
Track
inventory movement
and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
Plan for seasonal demands, holiday sales, and high-traffic shopping events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day).
Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
Generate weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, customer behavior, and product trends.
Use eBay Seller Hub and analytics tools to measure conversion rates, traffic, and overall store performance.
Identify underperforming products and make adjustments to improve their ranking and sales.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or diploma
in
Business, E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years
of experience in
eBay sales, e-commerce, or online marketplace management.
Strong understanding of
eBay SEO, listing optimization, and product ranking strategies.
Experience managing eBay stores in the Canada and UK, preferred.
Proficiency in
eBay Seller Hub, Terapeak, and eBay Ads (Promoted Listings).
Strong communication and
customer service skills.
Ability to
analyze data
and make informed sales and pricing decisions.
Familiarity with
shipping and fulfillment processes
for international markets.
Knowledge of
inventory management software
(such as Linnworks, ChannelAdvisor, or similar tools) is a plus.
