E Commerce Coordinator

Job Description

The E-commerce Coordinator will support the E-commerce team in managing and optimizing the online sales and digital experience. This role will work closely with marketing, IT, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure the smooth operation of the company's e-commerce platform. The E-commerce Coordinator will be responsible for executing strategies to increase online sales, improving user experience, maintaining product listings, and supporting e-commerce campaigns.

Key Responsibilities



E-commerce Operations Management

Maintain and update the online product catalog, including product descriptions, pricing, and images. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of product information across all digital platforms. Assist in managing day-to-day website updates, promotions, and seasonal campaigns. Track product inventory and collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock levels. Coordinate with vendors for product listings, promotions, and necessary content.

Content Management & Optimization

Support the creation of content for product pages, banners, blogs, and other online materials to enhance the customer experience. Work with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and optimized web content. Optimize website content for SEO and user experience to drive traffic and conversions.

Order Processing & Customer Service Support

Oversee the order fulfilment process and coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries. Assist in addressing customer inquiries related to product availability, delivery, and returns through e-commerce channels. Process returns and exchanges, ensuring customers have a positive experience.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor e-commerce platform performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.). Generate regular reports on sales, traffic, and customer behaviour to provide insights for the team. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend actions to optimize conversion rates.

Marketing Campaign Support

Assist with the execution of online marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital advertising strategies. Coordinate with the marketing team on email marketing, social media, and paid media campaigns to drive e-commerce traffic.

Collaboration & Teamwork

Work closely with the E-commerce Manager/agency to identify trends, customer preferences, and market shifts. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, IT, and Customer Service) to ensure all e-commerce operations are aligned.

Qualifications & Skills



Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, online retail, or digital marketing preferably in a B2B setting (but B2C setting will do too). Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Presta-shop, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) and content management systems. Experience in SEO, website analytics tools, and basic HTML/CSS skills are a plus.

Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, social media platforms, etc.). Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
