• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the hotel. This includes HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), elevators, lighting, water supply, drainage systems, fire safety equipment, and other essential facilities
• Quickly respond to any issues or breakdowns in the hotel\'s systems and equipment. Diagnose the problems and take appropriate action to resolve them promptly, either by conducting repairs or coordinating with external contractors
• Implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize the risk of equipment failure or malfunctions. Regularly inspect and service equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Ensure that all mechanical and electrical systems meet safety standards and regulations. This involves conducting safety checks, adhering to building codes, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
• Implement energy-saving measures and initiatives to promote sustainability and reduce energy consumption in the hotel\'s operations
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. This information is crucial for future reference and to identify recurring issues
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as power outages, equipment failures, or other critical situations. Coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues promptly
• Work closely with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverage, to address any maintenance-related concerns and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Be approachable and helpful to guests who may have questions or concerns related to hotel facilities. Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION

• Engineering degree / higher education qualification.
• 2-3 years of prior experience in in a five star environment in the same role.
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required. Must speak English. Other languages preferred
