Duty Engineer

, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our property's high standards -- ensuring everything runs efficiently, safely, and reliably for guests and colleagues alike.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

Performing routine maintenance and inspections across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities Responding quickly to guest or team requests to repair or resolve maintenance issues Assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Supporting energy conservation and sustainability initiatives through careful use of tools, materials, and utilities Working closely with the engineering team and other departments to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone Being flexible to react to unexpected challenges or urgent repair needs as they arise

What we need from you:

Diploma in electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance fields 2-3 years of hands-on experience in general maintenance, facilities, or engineering -- ideally within a hotel environment Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Relevant trade certifications or licenses (where required by law) A professional attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
