We\xe2\x80\x99re searching for a Duty Engineer that sees the big picture to keep his team one step ahead of maintenance challenges. While motivating them to take pride in delivering safe and compliant stays 24/7/365.
Every day is different, but you\xe2\x80\x99ll mostly be:
- Assist in planning, executing and monitoring all engineering repair and preventive maintenance works in compliance with both the external audit and IHG\'s management review for the Resort
- Maintenance of all Resort fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise
- Responsible for maintenance issues within the Resort
- Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers & stakeholders
- Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
What We need from you:
- College or advanced vocational training
- Four years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields
- Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required
- Hotel experience preferred
- Professional certification and license if required by law
