Job Summary and Purpose

Coordinate the day-to-day monitoring of the vessels' expenditure with Superintendents and assist relevant Head of Technical with all activities related to budget management and analysis.

Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities: 1. Support both Head of Technical and the in-charge Superintendent to align in collating and raising the initial Dry-Docking supplies requirements (Material or services). 2. Ensure consistent Dry-Docking project costs for the same class of vessels. 3. Communicate with vessels with regards to budget status and ensure the right budget cost allocation is implemented. 4. Assist relevant category Buyer at Dry-Docking tendering process to consistently align project scopes with up-to-date information and share available budgetary figures. 5. Maintain proper filing system for the entire fleet Special Survey information, including all of the Dry-Docking elements with budgetary projections and produce necessary slide pack at start of the Dry-Docking cycle. 6. Perform an overall cost analysis per class of Vessels, Yearly Projects, Overall Dry-Docking Project, etc., and under the supervision of the Head of Technical and the Technical Manager. 7. Coordinate with Head of Technical/In-Charge Superintendents the Dry-Docking final report with confirmed final project cost and ensure that WBS budget code is closed in no more than 12 months from the effective Dr-Docking completion date. 8. Handle the GRN (Good receipt note) process of allocated Vessels and coordinate approvals with Superintendents, Head of Technical and Technical Manager. 9. Provide familiarization to the Dry-Docking support Team with clear expectations and feedback to the in-charge Superintendent. 10. Follows up with Supply Department on Dry-Docking bulk purchases of spare parts and services. 11. Maintain a live engagement with critical Vendors and look for optimization initiatives. 12. Maintain accurate records of the depot spares movements during Dry-Dockings, with inclusion into the overall Dry-Docking cost and liaise with relevant Technical Superintendents for replenishment processes of depot warehouse. 13. Conduct ship visits to discuss with onboard Chief Engineers' issues related to above responsibilities and issue related reports. 14. Maintain accurate records of the depot spares movements, inspections, and stock management, and liaise with relevant Technical Superintendents for the release and replenishment processes of depot warehouse. 15. Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills

Qualifications: . Recognized Sea going license such as Junior Officer or any related field. Experience: . 3-6 years' seagoing experience with a relevant and reputable shipping company or 3 years ashore in similar cost control role and finance activities. Job Specific Skills: . Good understanding of various analytical tools and methodologies . Computer literate Microsoft suite of products.
