We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled
Drone Technician
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our fleet of drones. You'll work closely with engineers and pilots to ensure each system is safe, functional, and mission-ready.
Responsibilities:
Assemble drones from parts including frames, motors, ESCs, batteries, and electronics.
Perform pre-flight inspections, calibrations, and post-flight diagnostics.
Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to drone systems.
Install and configure flight controllers, GPS units, sensors, and communication systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
Document repairs, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Assist engineers during prototype development and testing phases.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.
Maintain inventory of drone parts, tools, and repair equipment.
Qualifications:
hands-on experience building, repairing, or maintaining drones (personal, commercial, or industrial).
Knowledge of UAV systems, flight controllers (e.g., Pixhawk, DJI), telemetry, and power systems.
Experience with soldering, wiring, and basic mechanical assembly.
Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in both workshop and field environments.
