Job Description

We are looking for a Drone Technician to join our client. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, inspection, maintenance, and repair of our drone fleet to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance. You will collaborate closely with engineers, R&D specialists, and drone pilots to support both routine missions and advanced prototype testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble drones from components including frames, motors, ESCs, power systems, and electronic modules. Perform comprehensive pre-flight checks, calibrations, and post-flight diagnostics. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues using specialized tools and software. Install and configure flight controllers (e.g., Pixhawk, DJI), GPS modules, sensors, telemetry, and communication systems. Support prototype development, system integration, and field testing in collaboration with engineering teams. Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, upgrades, and repairs in line with company protocols. Ensure all drone operations meet internal safety standards and regulatory requirements. Manage inventory of drone components, spare parts, and repair tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven hands-on experience in drone assembly, repair, or maintenance (personal, commercial, or industrial). Solid understanding of UAV systems, flight control hardware/software, and power systems. Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly. Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and user manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Comfortable working in both lab and field environments, occasionally under challenging conditions. Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
