Job Title: Driver Supervisor

Location: Dubai, UAE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transportation Supervisor to oversee and manage our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and safe transport of personnel, goods, and equipment, optimizing our fleet's performance and maintenance while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Management:

- Supervise daily operations of the transportation fleet, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.

- Monitor vehicle performance and conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

2. Staff Supervision:

- Lead, train, and evaluate a team of drivers and transportation staff, fostering a collaborative and safety-oriented work environment.

- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, and performance management of transportation personnel.

3. Operational Efficiency:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize route planning, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance to reduce costs and improve service delivery.

- Analyze transportation metrics and generate reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.

4. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure all transportation activities comply with local and international regulations, including safety standards and environmental guidelines.

- Investigate and resolve any accidents, incidents, or compliance issues in a timely manner.

5. Customer Service:

- Interface with clients and stakeholders to address transportation-related inquiries, concerns, and service requests.

- Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

6. Budget Management:

- Assist in the preparation and management of the transportation budget, including cost control and expenditure tracking.

7. Technology and Innovation:

- Utilize transportation management systems and other technologies to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to incorporate best practices into the transportation function.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience (3+ years) in a transportation supervisory role, preferably within facility management or a related industry.

- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, and safety practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on metrics and performance indicators.

Additional Considerations:

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Knowledge of Dubai's transportation infrastructure and regulations is advantageous.
