We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver for light vehicles to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of goods or transportation of personnel throughout the city and surrounding areas.

• Operate light vehicles to transport goods or personnel to designated locations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Plan and follow efficient routes, utilizing GPS navigation systems when necessary
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and transportation regulations while driving
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications

• Valid light vehicle driving license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a professional driver or in a similar role preferred
• Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and Dubai's road network
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including potential lifting and long hours of sitting
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Familiarity with Dubai's traffic patterns and ability to navigate efficiently in various conditions
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and logs
