About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Driver to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Heavy Duty Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting workers, materials, and equipment to and from various work sites while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.

Operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport workers, materials, and equipment to designated locations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal condition and safety Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, including proper use of seat belts and observing speed limits Oversee and manage a team of workers during transportation and at work sites Maintain accurate daily logs of activities, progress reports, and any incidents or delays Ensure all passengers follow safety protocols during transit Assist in loading and unloading of materials and equipment when necessary Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients Adapt to changing weather conditions and road situations to ensure safe transportation

What do we need from you

Valid commercial driver's license Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles In-depth knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations, particularly in Dubai and the UAE Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Physical fitness and stamina to handle long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting Proven ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles in various conditions Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to read maps and plan efficient routes Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required * Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to professionalism
