Under broad direction, is responsible for GeoBalance Applications (GBA) planning, directing, and engineering efforts in drilling operations on location. Acts as a technical specialist who makes and provides critical specific PSL job design decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact one extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Responsible for all GBA operations at the well-site including: reporting, coaching and leading less experienced employees and contractors, move in and rig up of GBA equipment, well support, and post job analysis to customers in a designated area. Must have knowledge and demonstrated understanding of drilling metrics and drilling technology. Has expert knowledge of drilling optimization and assures that drilling operations are cost effective and consistent with overall strategy. Helps build synergies between PSLs. Requires a high school diploma and 10 years industry related which includes 6 years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling experience.
